My husband , who is an avid JJJ fan, came home last week and INSISTED I google a song for him to find out who sang it as he had just heard it on the radio and thought it was one of the best songs he had heard in a long time.
Well, being a firm believer that JJJ is the domain of beret wearing, unihead twats and other wanton try hards, I had my doubts. So whilst berating him for listening to JJJ and reminding him that he wasn’t 17 any more and since the emergence of Myspace and other internet domains that independent struggling musicians didn’t even need JJJ AND if I find him lying in front of a bulldozer anytime soon to save an ancient mighty oak and smelling like patchoulli, then divorce would be imminent. BUT after I googled it and found the song and listened to it on You tube, I sheepishly admitted that it was sort of OK and tried to act not so impressed, however ,I found myself singing it all the next day and it is quite a good little tune if I do say so myself!
The name of the song is DOG DAYS by FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE. So go and do whatever you do to get your music and plug yourself in. You will be impressed.

…and we thought Mr Shelley wore the beret as a disguise to hide from his domineering Wife and escape further beatings? Who’d have thunk it that it was merely a JJJ supporter uniform? Poor Bloke, his taste in music is as quirky as his choice of Wife!
