There comes at time in every woman’s life that she questions her sexuality, right?
Well mine came last night in a very public setting. The Brisbane Entertainment Centre at the Pink ‘Funhouse’ Concert Tour.
Picture if you will, a red lounge centre stage with the lights dim and Pink in a black lacy outfit. The whole stadium is silent. Music begins and Pink starts to sexily move across the lounge, almost cat like. Then the lyrics to ‘I Touch Myself’ by The Divinyls begin. It was HOT! At one stage, hands appeared from underneath the lounge, caressing her body, which was completely flawless (she even had a ‘V’, yes the same ‘V’ that Matthew McConaughey has…Ladies you understand). HOT HOT HOT!!!!
And just as I started to feel a little guilty, a married woman with a child, feeling hot and flustered by the performance I just saw, my girlfriend nudged me, leant over and whispered…‘I think I’m a lesbian’.
This made me wonder, how many women in that audience secretly felt the same?
Overall, the whole concert was amazing. Pink sang songs from all her albums, and did a few covers, including Bohemian Rhapsody (another awesome performance). She kept you entertained right to the end. And her voice? Wow! Her vocal range was fantastic, she really proved herself to be an amazing artist, not that there was any doubt.

I’ve gotta say that more than once I have had this very thought. I would have to speculate that most in the Brisbane Entertainment Centre would have been feeling the same way as you Nicolin. Some not so secretly either! lol..
Red lounge, black lacy outfit..catlike prowess, being caressed by many hands… The “Funhouse Tour” is aptly named. I like Pink’s idea of fun! Is it too late to get tickets??
Ha! Hilarious; thanks for the recap and interesting perspective.
I saw Pink at Sydney Entertainment Centre and (not surprisingly) have repeated several times since that I think I would switch teams for her! That rendition of I Touch Myself - wow, without being overtly sexual it was the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen… I almost had to look away. lol
So, yes, this mild-mannered mother of two has told her husband that Pink is now on her “list”.
“I almost had to look away”
LOL… “almost”.. haha
Pink is on my list, phwoar factor is huge and goes to show that personality and self confidence are major players in all this sexual attraction bizzo.
Ha ha ha!! Glad you chose to use your poetic licence but for the record, I’m pretty sure I said something along the lines of “I’d turn Lesbian for her”…not quite “I am a lesbian”, but hey, how HOT HOT HOT was she. I can’t stop thinking about it today.
I get what your saying about Pink, happened to me and a friend at VFest last year.
We were waiting for Duran to come on and play their set. But first, there was Roisin Murphy. Have you seen her? My friend leans in and says ’she could turn me’…
Which, coming from my friend is a huge call - she’s funny about things like that. So yeah, I know what you mean. You’re hetrosexual, you know your hetrosexual, yet, you wonder!
Yes, must admit I could have a stab in the dark with
P!NK (scuse the pun) but I am saving my first lesbian experience for Scarlett Johansen
Nicolin, what an odd name. Is it like Madonna, no last name? Interesting, but not as interesting as your suppressed lesbian tendencies. I like the way you think…Hope to see more posts from you soon!
